Impossible is pleased to announce the opening of its first UK exhibition ever. From 3rd December 2010 to 6th January 2011 "The Good Grey" will show the vivid magic of analog instant film by Impossible.

Hosted by North Tea Power in Manchester "The Good Grey" features 11 artists from Manchester who have been experimenting with the new Impossible films, capturing their everyday life within the classic square format.

For Peter Defty, one of the artists, “it’s simply the nature of the finished object, with its imperfections and retro feel, as well as it being the exception rather than the rule in today’s world of retouching and uniformity, which make it fun to use”.

Other artists include: Robert Bailey, Ben Grainger, Steve Hockett, Jane Liza Spindler, Wayne Anthony Lew, Sebastian Matthes, Sebastian Mariner, Deanna Halsall, Iwan Roberts and Will France.

Impossible @ Photokina

20.08.2010

2010 will go down in analog photography's history as the year that saw the unlikely resurrection of new instant films by Impossible for traditional Polaroid cameras. Therefore 2010 is the perfect year for Impossible to dance at the Photokina 2010 - the world's biggest trade fair for photography and imaging - for the first time, and kindly supported by the Photokina.

From 21 - 26 September Impossible will be honored to welcome you at booth B 34 in Hall 2.1. of Photokina. This is where we will pitch our small but beautiful tent for six days, and where we will take visitors on an exciting journey to discover all the possibilities of Impossible’s new analog instant films.

At Photokina, Impossible will officially introduce the next generation of the Color and Silver Shade films besides presenting an exciting workshop program feat. Beppe Bolchi, Spürsinn and more. You will also be able to meet Impossible's very own camera expert Henny Waanders, our chief chemist Martin Steinmeijer and of course Impossible's founders, who will be happy to take your portrait on our new film materials with a unique and adapted Big Shot Camera.
