Facing the ImpossibleWhen Impossible embarked on its mission to bring analog instant photography back, people worldwide were facing the extinction of their beloved film and cameras. But Impossible faced all challenges and developmental problems and has produced new instant films for Vintage Polaroid cameras.
The portrait series “Facing the Impossible” celebrates this accomplishment and faces the Impossible possibilities of analog instant photography today. Selected photographers are dealing with the portrait topic on Impossible PX 600 Silver Shade UV+ and PX 70 Color Shade PUSH! film to create their Impossible portraits.
Works of the following artists will be presented: Adam Goldberg, Adarsha Benjamin, Chloe Aftel, Irène Nam, Jen Altman, Lou O'Bedlam, Mikael Kennedy, Patrick Winfield, Rommel Pecson, The Gentlemen Amateur, Thibault Tourmente and Tim Mantoani.

The Good GreyImpossible is pleased to announce the opening of its first UK exhibition ever. From 3rd December 2010 to 6th January 2011 "The Good Grey" will show the vivid magic of analog instant film by Impossible.
Hosted by North Tea Power in Manchester "The Good Grey" features 11 artists from Manchester who have been experimenting with the new Impossible films, capturing their everyday life within the classic square format.
For Peter Defty, one of the artists, “it’s simply the nature of the finished object, with its imperfections and retro feel, as well as it being the exception rather than the rule in today’s world of retouching and uniformity, which make it fun to use”.
Other artists include: Robert Bailey, Ben Grainger, Steve Hockett, Jane Liza Spindler, Wayne Anthony Lew, Sebastian Matthes, Sebastian Mariner, Deanna Halsall, Iwan Roberts and Will France.
