North Tea Power (a unique new cafe concept) in Manchester is hosting UK’s first Impossible exhibition from 3rd December 2010 to 6th January 2011, bringing back the magic of analogue instant film. The Good Grey features 11 artists from Manchester, who have been experimenting with the new Impossible films, capturing their everyday life within the classic square format.

For Peter Defty, one of the artists, “it’s simply the nature of the finished object, with its imperfections and retro feel, as well as it being the exception rather than the rule in today’s world of retouching and uniformity, which make it fun to use”.
