TIMELESS IN AN INSTANT
ABOUT THE PROJECT
2012 marks the 10 year anniversary of Holden. From inception, Holden has sought a singular goal: creating products that make people happier and healthier in the pursuit of a life well led. The Impossible Project shares this philosophy and our newly developed instant analog film is simply a perfect way to document the moments that make up a life.
In our collaboration with Holden we did not only develop a limited PX 680 Holden Edition film and camera kits but also presented the online photo contest Timeless In An Instant in spring 2012.

THE EXHIBITION
The Timeless In An Instant exhibition shows moments and impressions of independent culture. Ten popular photographers from the skater, surfer and lifestyle scene, and participants of an international photography contest loaded their Polaroid cameras with Impossible instant film. These free spirits shot and captured their visions of an independent lifestyle, and of what the Holden idea of a “life well led” means. Selected works of Angela Boatwright, Jimmy Fontaine, Bryce Kanights, Brandon Long, Kassia Meador, Alessandro Simonetti, Vincent Skoglund, Andy Wright, Yone, Kevin Zacher and the grand prizewinner of the photo contest, Melanie Rodriguez will be presented in stunning enlargements.

CONTEST WINNERS
Grand Prize
Entries must be shot with Impossible integral films using a Polaroid camera.
Entries cannot be digitally edited in any way (color, brightness, etc).
Entries must be 72dpi and at least 800 pixels wide.
Originals must be available and ready to be sent in to qualify as the Grand Prize Winner of the competition.
Each submission cycle (every 2 weeks), participants are limited to a total of 5 submissions each.
Disclaimer: Please note only entires shot on Impossible films are eligible to win. Entries in violation of contest rules and regulations will be moderated.
